Building Your Wardrobe

Add Interest To Your Wardrobe

Are you a fashionistaIf so, you probably have a closet full of fabulous summer clothes. Maybe you are already shopping for your fall wardrobe. Do you have a plan for what you'll buy? If so, maybe you have already started your shopping adventures. On the other hand, maybe you are still in the planning stages of shopping for your new fall clothes. If that's the case, from choosing distinctive and unique items of clothing to choosing great accessories, here are some ideas that might help you.

Unique Outfits

Consider the kind of clothes you want before you shop. For example, maybe you are wanting a feminine look along with a bit of drama to the outfits you will select. Think of buying patterned dresses that are designed to flow. Choose tunics that have embroidery and other distinctive features to the design. Even your jeans can look distinctive. Choose jeans and slacks that have embroidered flowers or stones as the focal point. Pair them with different tops for different occasions.

For example, maybe you'll buy a pair of jeans that have embroidered flowers on the outside of the leg area. Choose a peasant-type blouse in a floral design to wear with the jeans, making sure that the flowers on the jeans and the floral print complement each other. If you selected a pair of flowing black palazzo pants with rhinestones as part of the design, choose a top that also has rhinestones, maybe at the collar and around the sleeves. The whole point is to look classy, feminine, and dramatic all at the same time.

Unique Accessories

You are probably already aware of how much jewelry and other accessories can add to an already terrific outfit, aren't you? With that in mind, shop for accessories that will complement the outfits you select for your fall wardrobe. For example, if you selected a jumpsuit with orange flowers as the focal point, think of buying jewelry that has fall leaves as part of the design. Maybe you selected a long dress to wear to more elegant events. In that case, think of buying a shawl that will complement the dress.

Shop at places where you can find one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and accessories. For example, thrift stores, resale stores, and boutiques will more than likely have items that nobody else will be wearing. Shop world markets, too. You'll probably find incredibly dramatic accessories from other countries that will look great with your new fall wardrobe.
